Setting up standard items

Note: It is recommended that you set up suppliers before you enter a large number of items.

1. Click Merchandising.
2. Click Items.
3. Click New.
4. Select Standard Item and click OK.
5. Use the General tab to enter general information about the item. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

6. Use the Inventory tab manage your item inventory. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

7. Use the Pricing tab to manage item pricing. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

8. Use the Discounts tab to manage item discounts. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

9. Use the Commission tab to manage commissions on sales of this item. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

10. On the Aliases tab, click New and enter any aliases for the item.
11. On the Substitutes tab, click New and select any substitute items that a customer might purchase instead if the item is out of stock.
12. Use the Special tab to manage other item properties. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

13. Use the Serial tab to manage serial numbers for serialized items.

14. Use the Kit tab to create or break kits.

16. Use the Purchase tab to manage purchasing and reordering.

17. Use the Voucher tab to manage voucher options and numbering. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

18. Use the Tare Weights tab to set up tares for weighed items.

19. On the Extended Properties tab, select additional item properties. ClosedSHOW MORE INFO

20. Click Save And Close.
