Units of measure

This topic describes how to configure a unit of measure (UOM). You should define the UOM used to sell items, as well as the UOM used to order items from suppliers.

  1. Click File | Configuration.

  2. Click the Unit of measure tab.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • To add a new unit of measure, click New.

    • To edit an existing unit of measure, select it and click Edit.

  4. For Code, enter a unique code, e.g., a number or abbreviation, that identifies the unit of measure.

  5. For Name, enter the name of the unit of measure.
