### Change to the inter-store transfer workflow

Starting with release 3.51.10, after an inter-store transfer (in or out) is released, it cannot be reopened. This means that the selected **Transfer From** and **Ship To** stores cannot be changed after the transfer status is changed to **Released**. It is a best practice to not change the transfer details after the transfer status is changed to **Released**.

This is related to a change to the inter-store transfer workflow that was made in release 3.51.5. Starting with release 3.51.5, when an inter-store transfer out is released in the originating store, the matching transfer in is created in the other store.
