# Acerca de los artículos matriciales de lote
**Los artículos de matriz de lote** son artículos que se empaquetan en diferentes cantidades y tienen distintos precios según la cantidad comprada; por ejemplo, una lata de refresco que puede venderse individualmente, o en cantidades de paquete de 6, paquete de 12 o paquete de 24.
Los artículos de matriz de lote normalmente usan el **mismo código de búsqueda** o **código UPC**. Cuando un cajero o vendedor introduce el código de búsqueda o el código UPC de un artículo de matriz de lote en el POS, se le solicita que seleccione la cantidad empaquetada que el cliente está comprando desde la **Selección de matriz de lote** pantalla.
Cuando crea un artículo de matriz de lote en RMH, puede agregar las diferentes cantidades empaquetadas seleccionando un artículo existente de la base de datos de la tienda, o creando un nuevo artículo usando el **Asistente de nuevo artículo**.
