# Acerca de los perfiles de POS

**Perfiles de POS** controlan aspectos específicos de la visualización y el comportamiento del POS.

Algunas de las cosas que controlan los perfiles de POS incluyen:

* Cuánto tiempo puede estar inactiva una línea de POS antes de que el usuario cierre sesión automáticamente;
* El número máximo de filas a mostrar, por ejemplo, cuando buscas un artículo;
* Si mostrar una fila de detalles para cada artículo;
* Si mostrar un navegador web integrado en el POS;

<div align="left"><img src="/files/1dc55cfc74728b636b4ab63b5dbdef46513c141e" alt=""></div>

* Si habilitar el pago integrado;
* Si mostrar la información de Pesas y Medidas en la pantalla de inicio de sesión del POS, y el número de dígitos decimales que usar en las mediciones.

{% hint style="info" %}
Los perfiles de POS se definen en Store Manager en **Configuración** | **Hardware** | **Perfiles de POS**. Puedes asignar un perfil de POS a una línea de POS específica en Store Manager en **Configuración** | **Hardware** | **Lista de cajas**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rmhpos.com/es/readme-1/customize-the-pos-screen/using_pos_profiles_old.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
